Agua Azul Waterfalls

The Agua Azul waterfalls are located approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes away from Palenque, it gets its name from the beautiful turquoise blue color that the water acquires (if it does not rain). Get adventurous and go for a swim. Only 68 km away from the hotel.

Mishol-ha waterfall

It is a beautiful 30-meter waterfall located 25 minutes away from Palenque. You can swim in the water, although the current is a bit strong. Usually, tourists just take pictures and explore the exciting cave just below the waterfall. Misol-Há is 24 km away from the hotel.

Palenque’s Archeological Site

  • Located 8 km away from the city of Palenque, Chiapas. The Archeological Site is open from 8:30 am to 16:30 pm, the 365 days of the year.
  • The museum is just 2 km away from the site – open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
  • The mystic Palenque’s Archeological Site offers a view into the excellent and precise Mayan architecture and sculpture with such buildings as the famous Temple of Inscriptions, which was the last residence of the powerful King Pakal.
